Phantom of the Opera

One of the most amazing experiences I had at BYU was assisting Deanne Dewitt with costumes for the masquerade scene in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera. Seriously this was one of the coolest projects I have ever worked on, and it was incredibly fun. The production team was amazing, and working with Deanne was inspiring. It was wonderful to work with such an experienced and talented designer and make a good friend. I have one long lasting effect from working on this scene. I LOVE SPARKLES. Seriously, I bought 3 bedazzled shirts today, and you should just see my current fabric collection. It would make your eyes hurt. But not mine, it just makes me happy.

The first photo was my class project. Sewing tutu's is a lot of fun. The rest of the photo's have some of the costumes I helped put together. Hope you enjoy!
